Creative director Jonathan Anderson is leading LOEWE into the future, both preserving and refreshing the label’s 170-year-old legacy of craft and innovation. Be sure to bookmark this brand for enviable leather goods and editor-approved ready-to-wear alike.
Founded in Madrid in 1846, LOEWE (pronounced “low-ay-ve”) established its roots as a leather artisans cooperative. The following year, German entrepreneur Enrique Loewe Rossberg consolidated the workshop, applying his name to one of the world’s first luxury houses. In 1970, LOEWE’s logo was created by artist Vicente Vela and is still proudly displayed on each product today as a mark of excellence.
LOEWE’s cult-classic accessories edit is defined by the Puzzle bag, elephant coin purse and quirky cat charms. Beyond enviable leather goods, the Spanish heritage label has been reimaged as a contemporary ready-to-wear heavyweight under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson. Update your edit with a collection of deconstructed denim, bold printed dresses and editor-approved outerwear.
