Valentino is by far one of Italy's finest fashion houses. At the mere age of 17, the designer left his home to commence his studies at the prestigious fashion school École des Beaux-Arts. The color was inspired by an entirely red set, that he saw when he attended the Carmen opera in Barcelona at a young age. Today, the tone still plays a particularly strong role within the founder's creation process.
