Taschen

Established in 1980 by Benedikt Taschen in Cologne, Germany, Taschen is an art book publisher co-managed by Benedikt and his eldest daughter, Marlene. The company started as Taschen Comics, publishing Benedikt's comic collection. In the many years since, it has expanded to include art, design, fashion, advertising history, film and architecture – producing everything from oversized tomes to pocket-sized books.
