Dries Van Noten: behind the brand

Dries Van Noten founded his eponymous label from his home in Belgium in the 80s. A graduate of Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts, he was one of the members of the now-famous Antwerp Six. Over the decades, Van Noten has stayed true to himself, earned the respect of his peers; most recently winning the “Prix du Jury” at the Belgian Fashion Awards.

Since 2025, the brand’s creative director has been the Belgian designer Julian Klausner, who brings a contemporary vision while preserving the house’s artistic heritage.
