In 1930, Roger Vivier created his first custom shoes in Paris for the iconic Josephine Baker and the French actress Mistinguett. Famously worn by Catherine Deneuve in the 1967 film Belle du Jour, his designs have since gained icon status, immediately recognizable by the square buckle.
Now under the creative direction of Gherardo Felloni, the maison continues the famous shoe designer’s legacy in flawless fashion, adding the right amount of contemporary cool to timeless styles. Each collection brings a new overarching theme, which runs through every piece and imbues the signature aesthetic—pretty and polished—with a modern twist.
