Returns & Exchanges

Thank you for shopping with Mytheresa. We hope that you're pleased with your order. If for any reason you're not fully satisfied, you can return any purchase within 30 days of receipt.

For returns, please follow the instructions for returning with the same carrier that shipped your order. For exchanges, please see the information below.

Returns with DHL

Step 1

Using the enclosed returns and exchanges form, please indicate which item(s) you would like to return and the reason, or your desired exchange size.

Step 2

Please insert the form with the item(s) you wish to return in the original packaging.

Step 3

Fill in the three copies of the Pro-Forma invoice, insert each one into the included transparent envelope, and attach it to the parcel without closing it. These documents are required for customs, so please be sure to complete all three copies. If you wish to return or exchange an item, you can do so within 30 days of receipt. Please contact Customer Care before initiating your return at 400 120 3544 or by emailing customercare@mytheresa.com for more specific instructions based on your return value & location.

Step 4

There are two options for handing over your parcel to DHL: drop-off or pick-up. With drop-offs you can leave a labeled DHL parcel at your nearest drop-off store: locator.dhl.com. For pick-ups you can arrange a collection with this link: https://mydhl.express.dhl/index/en.html

When arranging your pickup, you will need to provide the Waybill number shown on your label. You can find it below the first barcode.

Step 5

Once we have received the returned item(s), we will confirm your refund as soon as it has been processed.

How to exchange

If you wish to exchange your item(s), please contact our Customer Care team to reserve the new desired size and follow the steps mentioned above. Once we have received and processed your return, we will ship the exchanged item(s).

Returns conditions
  • All items must be returned in their original condition, without having been worn, washed or altered, and with tags still attached. Please make sure to include all item boxes and dust bags with your return.

  • Only one prepaid label is provided for each order. Therefore, all goods must be returned in the same parcel.

  • Return shipments must be made using the same service as for the original delivery (DHL).

  • We can only accept returns from the country to which an order was originally shipped. For example, orders delivered to Germany must be returned from Germany. Otherwise, the return is unfortunately not free of charge (import and shipping fees will be charged at your own expense).

  • Customized items cannot be returned.

  • Your refund will be credited to the original payment method. You can also opt in to receive store credit for the refunded amount, which you can redeem on future Mytheresa purchases. Shipping costs will not be refunded by Mytheresa in case of returns.

  • Insurance and handling fees will not be refunded by Mytheresa in case of returns.

  • When returning items that arrived in separate parcels, please carefully pack them into their original packaging. Kindly use the individual labels for each parcel.

Exchanges conditions
  • We can only exchange non-faulty items that are in their original condition, have not been worn, altered or washed, and have all tags still attached. Please make sure to include all item boxes and dust bags with your return.

  • It is only possible to exchange the same item for a different size. We cannot exchange items for a different color or a different item altogether.

  • Please be aware that we can only exchange the same item for a different size once.

  • Merchandise must be returned in one parcel. We reserve the right to refuse multiple returns from one order sent at different times.

  • Exchange shipments must be made using the same service as for the original delivery (DHL).

  • We can only accept exchanges from the country to which an order was originally shipped. For example, orders delivered to Germany must be returned from Germany. Otherwise, the exchange is unfortunately not free of charge (import and shipping fees will be charged at your own expense).

  • Customized items cannot be returned.

  • Products from the LIFE category cannot be exchanged.

Repeal policy

If you would like to repeal your contract of purchase, you may choose one of the following two options:

1. REPEAL OF PURCHASE BY WAY OF RETURN
Your repeal of purchase will automatically take effect if you return the items within 30 days as indicated above.

2. REPEAL OF PURCHASE IN WRITTEN FORM OR OVER THE PHONE
You have 14 days after delivery to repeal your contract of purchase in written form by sending us an email, fax or letter, or over the phone. Once you informed us, please return the items within 14 days.
