Designer cardigans for women
Women's designer cardigans have the power to take you from season to season, that's why we have hand-selected a spectacular variation of designs. From uplifting tones, presented by the likes of Miu Miu, to long coat styles by Acne Studios, it's an essential garment that works for every woman. In the midsummer months, combine a lightweight Chloé's dress with a maxi cardigan for a 70s format.
The chronicle of the wrap
An exceptional women's cardigan is both classic and eternal. Moreover, its superior craftsmanship means that no one never quite knows how old it is. The roots of the garment date back to the mid of the XIX century, when the newly formed creation was named after James Thomas Brudenell, who was the 7th Earl of Welsh town Cardigan. First worn by the British Army Officers throughout the Crimean War, the original design came in both a sleeveless and waistcoat format. However, today the stylish and practical masterpiece appears in a spectrum of different forms, such as longline and cropped.
How to dazzle in a cardigan
We've forever praised Scandinavian women for their ability to layer up oversized knitwear. Hence, we're following their marks in a chunky knit cardigan, styled together with skinny jeans, a white T-shirt and or a Gucci cardigan. Transcend this format into eveningwear, by switching your jeans for a designer denim skirt and a pair of designer evening shoes.
If you fancy more of a retro style, then select a high-waisted midi skirt, correlated together with a black crochet cardigan, floral top and a set of designer kitten-heel sandals. But for those who will forever maintain a traditional appearance, pick a red cashmere top and match with a striped blouse, designer culottes and brogues for the perfect marine-inspired ensemble.

While admiring our selection of designer knitwear, be sure to also glance at garments such as designer jumpsuits and designer dresses, which pair delightfully with summer cardigans.
