Stories of Italy created the Macchia Su Macchia collection as an exploration of the “macchia” technique, a type of Murano glass production. The opacity and layers are a departure from typical Murano glass; yet the colorful glazes, marbles and pietre dure are undeniably rooted in the tradition. The Ginger candle is a delicious Milanese panettone scent with spicy notes. The holder is mouth-blown on Murano island in Venice by an expert Maestro, and can be reused as a vase or jar once the candle has burned out.
