Fruit of the collaboration between Lemaire and Mad et Len, the Bois d'Orage candle offers a sophisticated olfactory experience that entrances with its fine balance of complexity and subtlety. The candle is part of a small collection, which comprises only this piece and a potpourri. The unique fragrance is created from essential oils found in the Gorges du Verdon, in the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, and offers poignant notes of Japanese cypress, Haitian vetiver, Indonesian patchouli, Indian calamus, and Virginia juniper. The result is a fresh, intense, and enveloping perfume that comes in a raw metal case, which is hand-welded and fire blackened in true Mad et Len style. Featuring a burn time of around 100 hours, the 750g hand-poured candle is made using vegetable wax and is totally free from paraffin and petrochemicals for a clean burn.
