Designer jeans for women
Finding denim that fits to perfection is never the easiest of tasks, however, thanks to Mytheresa vast selection of jeans, we are sure that you’ll be able to find an impeccable pair of jeans.
Though jeans were originally designed for cowboys and miners, in the 1950’s they became highly desirable amongst teenagers. As time passed the popularity of denim jeans grew immensely and renowned subcultures such as the hippies and the punks grasped onto the trend. Today jeans still remain just as prominent within the world of luxury fashion and they come in a variation of colors, washes and fits.
Choose your style of denim
Renowned for wearing skinny jeans, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller show how skinny denim should be worn. The model duo often opt for a pair of J-brand mid-rise or Rag & Bone high-rise skinny jeans and pair with a t-shirt and biker boots, for a daytime attire that never fails to impress.
In recent years we are seeing fashion powerhouses such as Alanui, Frame and Current Elliot remind us of the pre-skinny age when denim was stretch free and more of a statement than just an off-duty staple. We’re having flashbacks of Farrah Fawcett and her skateboard and Jane Birkin in denim flares. We recommend styling a pair of designer boyfriend jeans with a blazer and platform ankle boots for a Parisian street-style inspired look.
In recent times we’re seeing the world fall in love every hippie’s favorite pair of jeans; the flares. So if you feel like delving into the past then we suggest trying out a pair of nineties boot-cut flares or seventies bell-bottoms. As the emphasis on this type of denim is located around the ankle of the jeans then pair with high-heeled boots or a statement pair of ballet shoes, and keep it simplistic up top with a basic T-Shirt and a leather jacket.
With a vast proportion of street-style influencers posting daily looks that feature denim, inspiration on how in which to style your jeans is never hard to find. It’s safe to say that today it would be difficult to function within our modern lifestyles without our beloved jeans. Monday, Friday and Sunday would be difficult days indeed. Jeans for women are saviors. So find your perfect pair of designer jeans at Mytheresa.
