Founded in New York City in 2013 by Mickey Ashmore, Sabah began with a pair of Turkish slippers and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. Its name comes from the Turkish word for “morning” to convey optimism, renewal, and the passage of time.

Sabah shoes are crafted entirely by hand in independent, family-owned workshops, where traditional shoemaking techniques have been honed over generations. From the signature Sabahs to the beloved Babas, each pair promises to grow more comfortable and character-rich the more it is worn and cherished.
