Post Scriptum round vase by Formafantasma

Conceived by research-based design studio Formafantasma for Cassina, the Post Scriptum collection brings together a series of hand-painted porcelain objects inspired by designs from the extensive Ginori 1735 archives. The production process involves hand-drawing graffito motifs onto bisque porcelain and then firing the surface to set the black ceramic chalk. On this round vase, the grafitto takes the form of horizontal and vertical black lines against a white background, producing a sporadic but consistent grid pattern that covers the exterior of the vessel.
