World-renowned interior designer Nini Andrade Silva has teamed up with Bordallo Pinheiro to develop the Banana Madeira collection – an ode to the designer's birthplace. The island's iconic banana trees are celebrated through a series of ceramic tableware pieces in which their dark wrinkled barks, large verdant leaves, and delicate stems are painstakingly recreated for a tropical dining table layout. This tart tray forms one part of the award-winning collection, which won both a German Design Award and the Iconic Awards' Innovative Interior category in 2020.
