Before finding success, Kenzo Takada quenched his thirst to create by searching flea markets for fabrics. His experimentation resulted in boldly contrasting fabrics juxtaposed on a single garment – an aesthetic that would soon become synonymous with the now world-renowned label. Under the creative direction of Felipe Oliveira Baptista, those original archives of Takada’s work continue to inspire the KENZO look today.
