Since it was established in 1968, Etro has successfully kept the fashion world captivated with its free-spirited attitude and eclectic prints.
THIS SEASON AT ETRO
An occasion for celebration, this year marks the 50th anniversary of iconic house Etro – and the Spring/Summer 2018 collection exuded a festive mood. Our favourite signatures of the heritage label paraded down the runway. Jacquard kimono jackets with beaded trim and long-line belted robe coats with paisley borders channelled the global ethos of the bohemian brand that makes wanderlust a guiding principle for its collections. We’re especially excited for the white options – for example, a tiered lace gown and tapered trousers in a monochromatic paisley pine print – a surprising but covetable departure from a brand defined by heavily saturated palettes.
THE ETRO STORY
Etro prints are instantly recognisable, with charming paisley swirls at the core of the brand’s identity. Designer Veronica Etro keeps the Etro family tradition alive, referencing the substantial archives and mixing established styles with modern, fresh ideas.
