Eli Mizrahi characterized Mônot, his label founded in 2019, as a brand that makes “bad girls” a top priority – this translates into a bold aesthetic for wearers who are not wallflowers. Mizrahi was born in Beirut, raised in Monaco, and moved to New York City as a teenager. This vibrant upbringing is, in no small part, responsible for the daring designs produced by the label today.
At Mônot, a muted color palette ensures focus is placed on graphic cutouts and figure-hugging silhouettes. Designs such as deconstructed LBDs are a modern take on wardrobe staples and whimsical options, such as seashell bralettes, are the dash of fun you never knew your evening edit needed.
