Having graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1981, Antwerp Six member Ann Demeulemeester worked as a freelance designer – gaining steady recognition for her radical, deconstructive approach – before launching her eponymous label in 1985. Today, the design team lends a modern edge to the house’s signature codes.
