Maison Valentino was founded in 1960 in Rome by Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti. The most established Italian Maison de Couture, Valentino has since become a symbol of crafting excellence, creativity, and uniqueness. It continues to inspire individuality and redefine the values of mastery and beauty that are deeply rooted in its storied heritage.

Valentino is now led by Jacopo Venturini, the CEO as of June 2020, and has been under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele since April 2024.
