Taking its name from a playful Italian riff on the English word 'toy', Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni's Toio floor lamp for Flos brings together a series of unexpected shapes and styles in a whimsical manner so as to live up to its moniker. Originally designed in 1962, it consists of a car headlight as its light source, fishing rod running rings, and a height-adjustable hexagonal nickel-plated brass stem in black for an intriguing silhouette that truly catches the eye. A dimmer switch placed on the lamp's cable allows for brightness regulation and mood control. This design is supplied with a US plug.
