Turn to Hillier Bartley for that quirky golden touch.

Hillier Bartley Spring/Summer 2017 just shows once again that Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley definitely know what they’re doing. Whether it’s the belted silhouettes or feather-embellished blouses, the sleek jumpsuits or the fur-adorned sweaters, each piece from the SS17 collection boasts a certain elegance, spliced oh-so chicly with a sprinkling of daring edge. We’re sure you’ll be just as taken as we are with the richness of each design.

Katie Hillier and Luella Bartley first worked together in 1999 on Bartley’s eponymous label ‘Luella’, while Hillier went on to consult for various brands including Marc by Marc Jacobs, Victoria Beckham, Stella McCartney, and Loewe. In 2013 the pair were reunited as Creative Directors of Marc by Marc Jacobs, which ultimately sowed the seeds for the launch of their own brand, Hillier Bartley. Hillier Bartley was born out of a personal question of how the designers, and consequently other women, should dress as they age. This prompted the realisation that as 40 year olds, they wanted to feel more womanly and more elegant, without relinquishing their inner indie kid. The brand combines masculine elegance with rakish femininity, and plays with the notion of mixing the English aristocracy with street style influences.
