In a first for the fragrance industry, turmeric is incorporated as a key ingredient in Tom Dixon's fragrance, Root. Upcycled from the food and pharma industries, in which turmeric is valued for the chemical curcumin, the plant's roots are processed to create an oil with sweet, spicy, and warm notes while the leaves offer a peppery and citrusy finish. The addition of ginger as an accompanying key ingredient gives this large candle a dry and sharp fragrance. Approximate burn time: 60 hours.
