A well-known piece from the Secretariat Building in Chandigarh's Capitol Complex, the Capitol Complex chair was developed by Italian brand Cassina in tribute to Pierre Jeanneret, cousin of Le Corbusier and designer of a host of furniture throughout the complex. Defined by independent pieces that include an oak wood frame, a Vienna straw seat and backrest, and coplanar legs, the design is both simple and powerful.
