Inspired by Alpine furniture traditions, the Alpina chair by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby of Barber & Osgerby presents a new form in which honest sustainability meets contemporary design. In line with the duo's multidisciplinary approach, the chair offers a versatility that makes it suited to traditional and modern environments alike, and comprises an FSC-certified ash wood frame and a bio-based polypropylene backrest derived from waste cooking oils. Produced by Magis, this chair is one of three available variations and presents a natural ash seat and legs that are joined by an olive green backrest.
