A small architectural chair comprising a seat cushion and two tubes that fluidly combine legs, armrests and a backrest in a continuous line, the Dudet chair by Patricia Urquiola is a striking vision. Produced by Cassina, the soft and comfortable piece strongly references '70s design, while an easily disassembled frame lends itself to effective circularity. This is possible thanks to an ease of separation between the chair's metal core and its polyurethane foam padding, which is designed with a percentage of polyols deriving from biological sources. This facilitates both the disposal of the separate pieces and the recycling or reuse of materials like the steel core.
