Historic French brand Trudon has gone back in time for its new collection, created in celebration of the candlemaker's 380th anniversary. The Tuileries collection finds inspiration in the archived notes of Countess Geneviève d’Ossun, a French courtier who served as lady-in-waiting to Marie Antoinette, which revealed Marie Antoinette's penchant for the rose. This extra large 2.8kg Tuileries candle — known as 'The Great Candle' — features heart notes of white flowers, raspberry, geranium, and rose, which are buttressed by head notes of pink berry, blackcurrant, and mandarin, as well as base notes of musk, patchouli, sandalwood, and vanilla. This candle has a burn time of over 300 hours.
