Stories of Italy created the Macchia su Macchia collection as an exploration of the “macchia” technique, a type of Murano glass production. The opacity and layers are a departure from typical Murano glass; yet the colorful glazes, marbles and pietre dure are undeniably rooted in the tradition. This Tall vase is mouth-blown and hand-finished in red and ivory white.
