Jun Takahashi first started the cult Tokyo-based label Undercover while studying at the renowned Bunka Academy of Fashion in 1990. Receiving support from Comme des Garçons’ Rei Kawakubo, the brand soon became a favourite among fashion insiders—lauded for its avant-garde fusion of streetwear elements and unconventional, yet sophisticated menswear staples.
