Clean cut jackets, fluid pants and slouchy hoodies make up part of A.P.C.'s clothing collection. The Parisian-born brand refines everyday simplicity through the usage of understated tones and superior fabrics. It's our go-to designer for timeless pieces that will ensure effortless elegance.
ATELIER DE PRODUCTION ET DE CRÉATION
In 1987, the Tunisian-born Jean Touitou launched the luxury label A.P.C. as a menswear brand. The key fashion influences during the brand's inception were electric colors and statement silhouettes, such as shoulders pads, which meant that the label's contemporary designs stood out. The following year, the founder added womenswear to his fashion house and at the turn of the mid-90's the name had become particularly famous for its denim jeans.
A.P.C. jeans are renowned for their exceptional quality, which is due to Touitou putting a heavy focus on construction and the material used. Currently, the brand sources supreme denim from Hiroshima in Japan which helps optimize the desirability for the garment. Moreover, in recent years A.P.C. has begun producing clothing such as sweatshirts and T-shirts in Los Angeles, to infuse a downtown American essence into the brand.
In addition to clothing, the name is also celebrated for producing a variety of shoes and bag designs which complete any off-duty attire, as well as collaborating with famous faces such as Kanye West and Étienne Daho.
DRESS IN A.P.C.
The Scandinavian fashion pack masters A.P.C.'s contemporary vibe. Follow their lead in a pair of skinny jeans matched with a hoodie or an oversized grey coat accessorized with Chelsea boots.
Unlike the Nordics, New Yorkers opt for more of an urban dress sense and style cropped jeans, with bomber jackets, then accessorize with platform heels for a look that is always in sync. Replicate their fashion sense with A.P.C's delightful selection of metropolitan approved designs.
Alternatively, take style cues from A.P.C.'s hometown of Paris and wear a pair of the label's pants with an oversized knit and a tote bag for an à la mode look.
