Prada bags for women
Prada purses are classically continental – chic style staples for women the world over. Always exclusive and expertly crafted, each seasonal collection is the height of desire. From Prada crossbody bags and clutches to the label's wallets, Prada offers a glamorous fashion investment unlike any other. Enjoy heritage, high fashion and limitless sophistication.
The birth of an icon
Prada was founded as a luxury leather goods store in 1913 by brothers Mario and Martino. Originally known as ‘Fratelli Prada’, this Milanese design house soon became a favorite amongst European aristocracy. Bequeathed a prestigious royal warrant in the year 1919, Prada continued to blossom into an illustrious household name.
In the late 1970s, entrepreneur Patrizio Bertelli entered the label and introduced a ground-breaking business model for international expansion. Soon branching out into clothing and footwear, the company maintained a peerless standard of quality, artistic vision, innovation and luxury.
Today, the label is run by Patrizio and his wife Miuccia Prada — granddaughter to Mario and a distinguished fashion designer. Known for her avant-garde choices and boundless creativity, she is also the founder of high fashion label Miu Miu.
Divine glamour for day or night
For smart-casual office attire, pair a Prada Saffiano leather shoulder bag with ballet flats, skinny jeans and a feminine designer blouse. Waterproof and damage-resistant, this fashion must-have is a resilient accessory, perfect for rush hour.
Slip-on your favorite maxi dress, summer sandals and add a jeweled statement necklace for easy-going days out with friends and family. A casual chat over coffee or perusing your favorite museum will feel super-glamorous thanks to your Prada Nylon bag.
After dusk, cut a killer silhouette in a pencil skirt, crisp shirt and edgy leather jacket. Up the style stakes with a Prada Moon or Simbole tote bag.
