Proenza Schouler is renowned for its urban aesthetic, which draws inspiration from contemporary art and youth culture to offer impeccably crafted clothing and accessories.

For their Fall/Winter 2017 collection, Proenza Schouler delivers bold asymmetrical cutout designs layered for a modern, abstract feel. Fleeting glimpses of skin are revealed in poignant, unexpected moments that always feel artistic. A focus on outerwear is also prominent with hardy silhouettes and shearling accents. The captivating show featured effortless sheath dresses cinched with D-ring belts as well as high-waisted trousers paired with leather wrap tops with a striking feel. From technical knits to metallic edgings and intriguing splatter prints, Proenza Schouler proves again to be a season highlight.

While still at Parsons, The New School for Design, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez collaborated on their graduating collection, calling it Proenza Schouler, which is the combination of their mothers’ maiden names. Setting the tone for the success to come, the entire collection was bought by Barneys New York. The duo has since established its brand as one of New York Fashion Week’s headline acts, and is responsible for some of the most sought after handbags fashion has possibly ever known.
