Peter Pilotto designers Christopher de Vos and Peter Pilotto enjoyed a phenomenal rise to success with their deftly cut dresses and artful print work.
THIS SEASON AT PETER PILOTTO
For colour, cuts, and overall immersive design, Peter Pilotto is a label constantly influenced by world-travelling adventures. Inspiration bloomed for the SS18 collection in the northern Japanese island of Okinawa, where the design duo practiced the exacting art of floral arrangement (ikebana) and wandered through landscapes lush with foliage. It comes as no surprise that the collection was full of colours and floral patterns, but with a slightly muted palette befitting the Japanese/English approach. We love the ruched waists and bold stripes that bring a dynamic tone to this season.
THE PETER PILOTTO STORY
After receiving the British Fashion Council’s "Best Emerging Talent" award in 2009, Peter Pilotto’s dynamic duo continues to impress industry insiders and style-savvy consumers alike. Season after season, front rowers wait eagerly to see how the print-centric, architectural aesthetic will have evolved. Allow us to predict that it’s always fantastic.
