Once ubiquitous throughout the Mediterranean, coral was used as currency in exchange for spices and perfumes. For the Mediterraneo basket, created in 2004, designer Emma Silvestris has recreated the imagery of the sea world. Made from mirror polished 18/10 stainless steel, the Large fruit holder measures 29 centimeters in diameter and makes a beautiful centerpiece.
