Designed by Joe Colombo in 1965 and now manufactured by Karakter, the Domo table lamp is one of three pieces based on a simple core shape created by the Italian designer. Working in line with a philosophy of democratic and functional design, Colombo's creations are "machines for living," with many – including Domo – achieving iconic status. All parts of the black lamp have a clear lacquer and – true to Colombo's aversion to sharp corners and straight lines – are shaped into soft curvaceous forms. This version is supplied with an EU plug.
