Fendi

Fendi
It all began when Adele Casagrande opened a leather and fur shop in Rome in 1918. Seven years later she married Eduardo Fendi and they decided to change the company`s name to Fendi. As the business prospered all five of their daughters joined the company - each with her own sense of style and business acumen. The union of German designer Karl Lagerfeld with the Fendis in 1965 was a high point for the label. Lagerfeld immediately created the iconic ‘double F’ logo. Working together, they revolutionized the treatment of fur and created light, soft, wearable and fashionable garments. When the sisters couldn’t find clothes which worked with their furs, the ready-to-wear line was born. Since then, Fendi has become a globally recognized symbol of unbridled luxury in ready-to-wear, beauty, and beyond.
