What are cookies and what are they used for?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on a user's computer when he or she visits a web site. mytheresa.com uses so-called session cookies that are immediately deleted after the browser is closed and allow for a shopping bag to be displayed cross-page, amongst others.

Furthermore, mytheresa.com uses cookies that will outlast a session (so-called persistent cookies). It is these cookies, in particular, which make our offer user-friendly, more secure and more effective.
